Alex Tintinalli
14-year-old guitar prodigy Alex Tintinalli has a new CD Nothing to Lose, a hard, authentic blues-rock at its sublime best, played with a technical virtuosity worthy of comparison with the greats. The phenomenally talented Tintinalli, from Kitchener, Ontario, wrote and arranged the entire record, save covers of songs by his heroes, fellow Canadian Colin James (Voodoo Thing) and the late Stevie Ray Vaughan (Life By The Drop). Alex is a truly sensational musical proposition. In a mere three-and-a-half years since picking up the guitar, he has reached an astonishing level of accomplishment in his playing and writing, that he fuses with an on-stage passion and energy which leaves audiences on their feet and open-mouthed. Despite his tender years, Alex is referred to as 'an old soul' musically, a reference to his classic playing style and mature approach to writing, performing and recording. He makes his admirably humble musical ambitions clear: "I feel that good

Anthony Kavouklis
Anthony Kavouklis, 10, was called up on stage by blues legend Buddy Guy during his concert at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Gainesville, FL last week. After playing with Guy, Anthony received a standing ovation. Who was that kid? When 10-year-old Anthony Kavouklis of Micanopy stepped onto the Phillips Center stage to trade guitar licks with blues legend Buddy Guy, he was an unknown to most of those who came to enjoy a night of music. By the time he finished jamming on "Voodoo Child," he was the answer to the most asked question in the lobby, "Who was that kid?" Guy, a master of the blues guitar and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, wowed the crowd last Thursday and brought the concert to his fans, playing as he strolled the aisle of the University of Florida's Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. But when he returned to the stage he had some company, a young boy wearing blue jeans, a red T-shirt and a hair style older music fans might describe as early

Conrad Oberg
Born in the summer 1994, musical phenom Conrad Oberg battled health issues from the start but, at the age of 2 1/2, was given an electronic keyboard, after his father had noticed that he was trying to play songs on his toy piano. By the age of three, Conrad had taught himself to play well enough that he could perform nearly any song he heard. At 11 years of age, Conrad has been performing in public for over seven years. He recorded his first album when he was 10 years old, at Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. Conrad was also featured on Cartoon Network on the show "Props." He was chosen as one of the 20 most talented kids in the United States, the only musician....and a blues kid to boot!
